Jemini wrested the title from 100 other contestants, including Glades Road Hooters co-worker Kelly Bourdon and Miami-native Juliette Cabrera from the Doral Hooters (who came in among the top five finalists).
"This was my first time participating in the Hooters International Swimsuit Pageant and it was an unbelievable experience," said Jemini.
Jemini wins $50,000, a crown, and a place of honor in the next Hooters swimsuit calendar.
Last year's winner, Lindsey Way of Fort Lauderdale, crowned Jemini after her final walk as reigning Hoooter-queen. "This past year has been the best year of my life," Way told the sold-out crown at the Fillmore Miami Beach.
As part of her duties as pageant winner, Jemini will represent Hooters as a spokesmodel, probably spending most of 2012 in a swimsuit. After that, the bathing beauty hopes to pursue a career in public relations and continue to volunteer at animal rescue organizations.
