Father's Day at Kapow! Noodle Bar, the Best New Palm Beach County Restaurant

Kapow! in Mizner Park is home to the Best Happy Hour and Best New Restaurant in Palm Beach County.

Kapow! Noodle Bar has charmed its south Palm Beach County audience, launching a popular happy hour and cultivating a loyal following that expands beyond its Mizner Park borders. The restaurant fared well in this year's Best Of Broward/Palm Beach awards, taking home top honors for Best New Palm Beach County Restaurant and Best Happy Hour in Palm Beach County.

So why all of the accolades? To start, there are the obvious talents of chef Anna Feinberg and her team to consider. Feinberg earned the role of executive chef earlier this year and took an already great concept and improved on the formula, lightening the menu and incorporating more fresh and seasonal flavors.

Meanwhile, the team of mixologists working the comfortable open-air bar turn out herb-infused cocktails that complement the dishes streaming out of the open kitchen. The atmosphere is hip -- not hipster -- and lively. If you're dining or drinking alone, take a seat at the bar and you won't feel lonely for long. Just take note that there's only one restroom per gender and weekends and happy hour tend to bring the crowds (plan accordingly).

Need an excuse to see what the space is all about? The restaurant will celebrate Father's Day on Sunday with half-off specials from 4 to 7 p.m. Bring Dad in for half-off craft beer, wine, and drinks. And be sure to try the steamed buns; they're delicious.
