New Food Truck Roundups Announced for Wilton Manors and Fort Lauderdale

B.C. Tacos will be appearing at three new food truck roundups, starting this week.

Several new food truck roundups have been announced in Broward County.

These new, smaller roundups may prove to be the future of food trucks, which in the past have seen mega events with more than two dozen trucks -- many serving the same types of fare.

Each mobile kitchen in these intimate events has been selected to provide a completely different choice of cuisine. Plus, each of these new roundups features proximity to a bar or other source of entertainment -- a plus for those wanting to make an evening out of a roundup (or simply for those of us craving a beer with our tacos).

Seminole Casino Coconut Creek is hosting a weekly food truck roundup starting Thursday, May 17. Trucks serving dinner from 6 - 9 p.m. include B.C. Tacos, Dog Eat Dog, Stocked-n-Loaded: Gourmet Food Truck, Palate Party, and Clarabelle's Cupcakes to Go.

New Moon Bar in Wilton Manors will host the city's first food truck roundup. Starting Tuesday, June 5, the bar will hold a monthly roundup from 5:30 - 9:30 p.m. Trucks include B.C. Tacos, Dog Eat Dog, and Big Kahuna.

Xtreme Indoor Karting in Fort Lauderdale will host a bimonthly ladies night with food trucks. Starting Thursday, June 14, ladies can enjoy free drinks and reduced racing fees from 4 - 9 p.m. while they eat from food trucks. Trucks are to be announced, but count on B.C. Tacos to be there since owner Brett Chiavari is organizing the event.
