Bravo! Gourmet Sandwich Shop Expanding; Will Sell Beer and Wine

Bravo! Gourmet Sandwich Shop has taken over the space next door, a former thrift shop at 2927 NE Sixth Ave. in Wilton Manors. The expansion will allow the shop to double its seating capacity. The owners will also sell beer and wine when the space debuts in about two weeks.

The diminutive kitchen space will remain as is, cranking out terrific sandwiches on perfect  Peruvian rolls: soft interior with a harvest of holes and a firm, crunchy crust.

The photo above is today's sandwich with roast turkey, the sweetness of red onions, herb mayo, and a little heat from the rocoto peppers. I was jealous I had not ordered the chicharron, with crispy pork and fried sweet potato. Next time.

Their Ceviche is excellent and a bargain.

This is great news. Bravo is one of my favorites and where I take out-of-town guests for lunch or breakfast on the weekends. I'd put Bravo's lomo saltado sandwich in my list of all-time favorite sandwiches.
