Roger Rabbit Full-Moon Party at the Ritz-Carlton Fort Lauderdale

Roger Rabbit is up for a party at the Ritz-Carlton.

Who framed Roger Rabbit? Was it his sexy wife who didn't mean to be bad (she was just drawn that way), baby Herman, or some other jealous 'toon?

Find out on Thursday, April 5, from 7 to 10 p.m. at the Ritz-Carlton, Fort Lauderdale full-moon party on the seventh-floor tropical pool deck.

The moon party features music by DJ Rob Riggs, specialty bar bites and cocktails, tarot card readers, and telescopes to watch the moon rise over the Atlantic.

The 1988 film Who Framed Roger Rabbit will play on the hotel's water wall, and servers will dress as 'toons straight out of the movie, which features 'toons and people living together in not-so-perfect harmony.

There's no cover charge to enjoy the fun, but the full-moon party benefits Soles4Souls, an organization that collects shoes to help people in need -- which means a chance for you to turn those shoes that hurt like hell into a cocktail that feels oh-so-good.

Bring a pair of new or gently worn shoes and a $5 donation and receive a complimentary cocktail. If you simply can't part with your shoes (be they Choos or Nine West), a $10 donation works just as well for a cocktail.

Valet parking is available for a reasonable $7. We're thinking this is a great reason to bring out the red wig and sequined dress and get our Jessica Rabbit on.
