Easter Brunch and Dinner in Fort Lauderdale, Lighthouse Point, and Broward

Wherever you decide to go, it is strongly advised that you call for reservations sooner rather than later. Find a list of Broward restaurants serving Easter meals after the jump.

An "endless" brunch from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. with cheeses, carved meats, made-to-order omelets, eggs Benedict, sushi from SAIA, seafood, pasta, and desserts. The cost is $47 per adult and $20 for kids ages 12 and younger. Free for kids 5 and younger. Valet parking is $5.

In addition to the regular brunch menu, the restaurant will offer pan-seared wild king salmon served with butter-poached purple potatoes and roasted spring vegetables with Meyer lemon aioli ($29) or smoked lamb shank with creamy mascarpone polenta, wood-grilled jumbo asparagus, and natural jus ($27). Special breakfast items are banana and chocolate chip pancakes ($12) and crabcake eggs Benedict ($16). Endless mimosas cost $12 with an entrée.

There are two brunch seatings: 10:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. The brunch spread includes an omelet station, eggs Benedict, fresh fruit, biscuits with gravy, grits, yogurt, turkey, and roast beef. Reservations should be made before Thursday, April 5.

The restaurant opens at noon with a $25 lunch or $35 dinner (tip and tax not included). Dine on a four-course, prix fixe menu. Appetizer choices include sweet potato and ginger chowder with chive sour cream; radish, fennel, and prosciutto salad with mojo citrus and tarragon dressing; or corned beef rillette, cauliflower, and mustard seed pickles with horseradish sauce. The second "course" is exotic fruit sorbet with candied orange and sugared mint. Choice of entrée includes braised New Zealand lamb shank with Mediterranean herbs and spices with garden mint chimichurri and leek and potato gratin; roasted Cornish game hen, sage and onion roulade, green beans, cinnamon bread sauce, and fingerling potatoes; or crispy-seared Scottish salmon petite ratatouille with aged balsamic glaze, and grilled lemon. Dessert choices include a lemon curd tart or chocolate and espresso mousseline.

This restaurant inside the Pelican Grand Beach Resort has seatings at 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 and 3:30 p.m. Reservations -- with a credit card -- are required, and the cost is $59.95 per adult or $29.95 for kids ages 5 to 12 years. Children 4 years and younger can eat for free. Buffet choices include various types of salad, seafood, artisan cheeses, sides, desserts, and entrées, plus chef stations with Belgian waffles, omelets, and carved meats.

Special dishes for the day include a lobster Benedict ($17) and a truffled short rib stack ($17) to be offered during an Easter brunch from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. "Bottomless" bellinis and mimosas are available for $15. Kids in attendance will get Easter treats from the Easter bunny. Reservations are recommended.

Special menu options for the holiday include deviled eggs ($10), duck confit with pickled onions, watercress, and fried eggs ($16), quiche ($14), and lamb lollipops ($30). The dessert menu will include a tangerine ice cream sundae ($10), house-made ricotta zeppolis ($9), and sticky carrot cake ($10). Easter brunch goes better with a cocktail, of course, and $11 Bellinis include strawberry basil, blackberry lavender, and white peach. Open for brunch and early dinner.
