Price Check: Publix v. Fresh Market v. Whole Foods

•  It would be surprising to find WF cheaper than Publix or their Greenwise for anything organic.

• thanks, that would be much more interesting and helpful. my wife swears WF is cheaper for organics than Publix, but we have never done a true like for like comparison. FM is much nearer, so I am hoping it is cheaper than WF as Publix does not have a big organic inventory - although it has got better.

• well, FM and Publix both have organic options, so it would have been a lot more helpful to do a like for like. Obviously organic items are going to cost more.

• They're not like for like. Fresh Market and Publix are not organic. Fresh Market has more organic items.

• are these like for like comparisons, especially on the fruit, veg and eggs as WF are usually organic and Publix are not (usually)?
