Longboards Hosts 'Tweets for Tots' Tonight, Drinks Provided

Tonight, South Florida social media types will leave the safety of their respective bedrooms, cubicles, and Starbucks tabletop offices to take part in an interactive tweet-up with the third-annual holiday social and toy drive Tweets for Tots at Longboards in West Palm Beach.

File this one under #thishangoverisforthekids and bring a new, unwrapped toy to the bar in exchange for complimentary hors d'oeuvres and a free cocktail, draft beer, or house wine. The event brings together the Association for Women in Communications in South Florida, Clematis Street Tweetup, the Kiwanis Club, and the U.S. Marine Corps in an aim to help fundraising efforts move from the more

traditional word of mouth to social media streams.

After the freebie drinks, satisfy your hankering for a Dirty Mow Mow -- the NSFW-sounding cocktail that's a concoction of fresh ginger, citron vodka, St. Germain, lemon, and champagne. There's also extended happy hour prices throughout the night.
