Frank and Dino's, The Daisy Coffee House, and Other Restaurant Openings

Located in the former Marcello's space at 718 S. Federal Highway, the dinner-only restaurant features brick, dark wood, and leather banquets in this 120-seat restaurant with a patio. The menu is red sauce classics: spaghetti and meatballs and chicken scarpariello on the menu. The restaurant is looking for servers, bartenders, and hostesses.

Lauderdale-By-The-Sea is getting a new coffee spot at 107 Commercial Blvd. called The Daisy Coffee House. Scheduled to open by the end of the month, they're looking for bakers and baristas. Click here for more information.
Looks like The Wine Dive is poised to open any minute, according to its Facebook page, which shows tables of diners, though the phone message still says Roxy's. The Wine Dive will offer 100 wines by the glass as well as an extensive bottle selection. Small bites like cheese and meat plates and bar snacks will be offered, as well as a full dinner menu by executive chef Curtis Hillard. The restaurant is still looking for a sous chef.
And last, a reader over on Chowhound gave a heads up that the Caliente Kitchen on Atlantic Ave. in Delray has closed, to be transformed into Union. Keep your eyes on this page for updates.
