There's so much going on, we've rounded up a short list of what's happening with restaurant openings in the next couple of weeks.

Now that Tap 42 has passed all its inspections, the restaurant has announced an opening date via Twitter: November 16 at 3 p.m. Featuring 42 beers on tap, bourbon, burgers, and nightly bands, the restaurant is helmed by owners Sean and Blaise McMackin, with chef Chris Palmer in the kitchen.

B&G Oyster Bar will open in mid-December in the space adjacent to its sibling, Coconuts. It's still a work in progress, though one thing's confirmed: The oyster bar picks up on a national trend of naming restaurants after little ones. B&G is a reference to owner Elliott Wolfe's children, Bennett and Gates. We're guessing that, like Coconuts, they'll serve lunch and stop serving dinner around 10 so servers can "have a life," said a server last night at Coconuts. Clean Plate Charlie will keep you posted.

Tundra Restaurant on Las Olas Boulevard in Fort Lauderdale is officially opening on November 11, though the restaurant confirms it will soft-open this Sunday for dinner. Tundra, as you may recall, is the ice-themed restaurant conceived by David Berman and Alex Podolny. The menu is a 15-course tasting menu for $59, with à la carte items also available from $5 to $40.

D'Angelo Trattoria is officially open in Delray Beach in the former Carolina's space at 9 SE Seventh Ave. The restaurant is the fifth for Angelo Elia, the well-regarded chef of Casa d'Angelo

The kitchen, manned by executive chef Ricky Piper (who also runs Casa d'Angelo), features appetizers from $9 to $16 such as veal bone marrow served with pane casareccio; burrata over roasted favas; and for you adventurous eaters, braised tripe in a pecorino, mint, and tomato sauce. Bucatini with wild boar ragout and carbonara are both featured among pastas ($14 to $19). And here's that dish again -- braised oxtail in a tomato wine sauce as well as the wood-oven whole piglet for ten are a couple of the standouts among the entrées ($22 to $29, with the exception of the piggie).

The restaurant seats 60 indoors and 60 on the patio and porch of the historic house, which will soon feature a pastry shop and gelateria. If you've had the gelato at D'Angelo, you'll likely to agree that it's something to celebrate. D'Angelo Trattoria will eventually be open for lunch. Call 561-330-1237 for reservations.
