Noodle fans in Boca Raton have been champing at the bit for the opening of Kapow! Noodle Bar in Mizner Park. The brainchild of Rodney Mayo and Scott Frielich (of Dada, Tryst, the Dubliner, Respectable Street, and Vagabond, to name a few) and Vaughan Lazar of Pizza Fusion, Kapow! is slated to open to the public at 5 p.m. Wednesday, November 23. Roy Villacrusis, of Kubo and Dirty Martini will act as executive chef for the new venture.
Though the restaurant doesn't open for another week, Lazar was kind enough to invite Clean Plate Charlie in for a quick sneak peek at how everything is coming together in the new space. Interior shots after the jump:

|Space is "cozy," so the kitchen is open, and storage is limited. This in turn means the menu is concise and the focus will be on using fresh ingredients on a daily basis. |

|The floorboards are all reclaimed wood, hence the mix-and-match appearance. Kapow! co-creator Lazar sports the same style of Chuck Taylor All-Stars that will be a part of the Kapow! servers' uniforms, which also feature jeans and black T-shirts with a tongue-in-cheek slogan. |
