Dos Caminos Executive Chef Ivy Stark Holds Reception, Book Signing

Ivy Stark, executive chef of Dos Caminos, will hold a book signing on Friday.

Stark's cookbook contains 120 recipes and profiles of real Mexican cooks. Home chefs will enjoy recipes for traditional Mexican dishes like plantain croquettes, chilies stuffed with spicy ground turkey, Baja-style fish tacos, cornmeal biscuits with cheddar and chipotle, roasted chicken flautas, tamarind-braised short ribs, black bean cakes with spicy butternut squash, rose petal ice cream, and Mexican milk fudge.

This Friday from 5 to 7 p.m., Stark will host a book signing and reception at the restaurant, located at the Fort Lauderdale Beach Hotel.

Guests will enjoy complimentary signature margaritas and food samplings. Copies of chef Stark's book will be available for sale at the event.
