100 Montaditos Plans South Florida Expansion and Beyond

The wildly popular 100 Montaditos sells tapas-sized sandwiches on imported, par-baked bread that's finished off in-house. Serrano ham, chorizo, Iberico cheese and olive oil, duck, turkey, salmon -- a hundred variations -- are sold for $1 to $3. Beers are under $3.50.
Conceived in Spain, 100 Montaditos opened 170 locations around the country from 2001 to 2010. The second Florida location will follow the model of the original Miami location, the first to open in the U.S., with plans to offer delivery and to stay open until 4 a.m.
