• In the now sepia days of my youth nothing was a thrilling as the white tipped goodness that was candy corn. Like the changing colors of the leaves, and the crisp feel of the air, the sweet, sweet flavor of candy corn was the perfect complement to autumn’s palette. Ah, the varieties of ways that one could enjoy this tantalizing treat. Whether nibbling slowly from white to yellow, or making vampire fangs, candy corn was as entertaining as it was delicious. The taste now reminds me of jumping in piles of leaves and “It’s the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown!” In fact, like the World War I flying ace I may have to zip on down to the store and live out this trip down memory lane. • Smarties!  I like to grind them up and put the powdered smarties into little baggies.  Then I dump a bit out onto a mirror for everyone. We cut them into fun-size lines and snort a bit through a fun-straw. Taste is centered in the olfactory regions, so don't be hatin'!  Sometimes I'll put some on the end of a key for a little pick me up   :)   Smarties make me SMART!

• My favorite Halloween candy is beer. And those chocolate balls that are wrapped in foil that look like eyeballs.

• Definitely candy corn. It has a wonderful cone shape, people have been using it to celebrate Halloween since the days that the Mayans ruled Florida, it has three consistent colors but every now and then it gives brown a chance, it is easy to grow, and it has a texture that is stragely similar to leftover mashed potatoes. Candy corn is nature's perfect Halloween candy.
