The tango -- in whatever form you choose -- is undeniably hot. Pair it with a few glasses of vino and some Latin cuisine and you've got yourself the makings for a pretty sexy situation; provided, of course, your tango partner is someone who gets your blood pumping.

The Second-Annual Latin American Food and Wine Festival at Midtown Palm Beach Gardens will feature these three factors -- dance, drink, and dinner -- with South American wines and Latin-inspired samplings from local restaurants like III Forks Prime Steakhouse, J. Alexander's, Cantina Laredo, and Don Ramon.

Tango lessons and live music also are on the bill, with various winetasting stations on the premises. Tickets cost $35 per person, and the festival runs from 5:30 to 9 p.m. Thursday at 4801 PGA Blvd.
