New Restaurants Need Staff: Kapow! Noodle Bar, the Water Bar, Las Olas Wine, East End Brasserie

Today and tomorrow from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Kapow! Noodle Bar is hosting an open house for back-of-the-house positions, including line cooks, prep cooks, and dishwashers. Click here for requirements, which include at least a year of experience. Sit tight, bartenders and servers: They're hiring you next week.

Formerly John Spoto's Oakwood Grill, the Water Bar is scheduled to open in Palm Beach Gardens this November. The restaurant is looking to fill server, bartender, host, and busser positions. Apply in person from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. For more information, click here

I'm glad Florida continues to create such high income, white collar jobs for an educated work force. The Florida idea of "opportunity" is making $30,000 a year as a bartender.

This is reason #327 why I left Florida. What a joke.

That comment makes about as much sense as the Obama Jobs Bill. You are obviously trolling the job listings (in the restaurant section mind you) for work and the only positive thing you can say is that there are actually jobs to be had. I applaud anyone opening a business in this economy no matter what space it's in.
