Tickets for Food Network South Beach Wine & Food Festival on Sale Monday

​Calling all gourmands and scenesters: Tickets go on sale Monday for the foodist event of the year: The 11th-annual South Beach Wine & Food Festival, to benefit FIU Chaplin School of Hospitality and Tourism Management.

Remember Paula Dean's pants episode or Mario Batali's f bomb for the king and queen of Spain, followed by his grab-assing Jose Andres? If those episodes don't remind you of the epic nature of the weekend, perhaps a rundown of this year's events may entice you:

​A Thursday-night kickoff at the Delano with Moet Hennessy's the Q presented by Allen Brothers and hosted by Emeril Lagasse and Guy Fieri; Friday night's Amstel Light Burger Bash at the Ritz-Carlton South Beach hosted by Rachael Ray; and Saturday night's Diamond Dishes at the new Miami Marlins Park with South Florida chefs such as Michelle Bernstein, Scott Conant, Laurent Tourondel, and Hedy Goldsmith. 

Also on Saturday, Anthony Bourdain hosts the 2012 Tribute Dinner in honor of Charlie Trotter and winemaker Piero Antinori at Loews Miami Beach, with dishes from Wylie Dufresne, Emeril Lagasse, Patrick O'Connell, and Normal Van Aken. 

I'll be saving room for Swine & Wine on February 26, a gourmet rendition of the Cuban pig roast, hosted by Debi Mazar and Gabriele Corcos. And there's always the Whole Foods Market Grand Tasting Village, for grazing and boozing around.
