Salsa Fiesta Opens Second U.S. Location, in Pembroke Pines

The chain is already scouting additional locations in
both the Miami-Dade and Broward markets, confirms Alan Benjamini, district manager of the Pembroke Pines shop. "It's just a matter of securing spaces and laying the groundwork as far as which will open next," he said.
Salsa Fiesta is a fast-casual chain that "screams refreshing energy" through "flavorful Mexican-style food" that, despite the casual concept, apparently makes "art and craft on every plate." Customers order at the register, fast-food style, for what's marketed as made-from-scratch, quick cuisine.
Olivo and his wife, Adriana Perez Benatar, took just under two years to assemble a menu that nods to Caribbean flavors in Mexican- and Venezuelan-style street food, which includes tacos, burritos, fajitas, and an array of salsas.
The most popular items in the Pembroke location are fajitas ($10.99) or salsa enchiladas, made with chicken or steak, cilantro-lime rice and beans, topped with cheese and tomato or tomatillo salsa ($10.99).
A selling point in Miami and likely this market are the two-for-one margaritas and beers during happy hour, from 3 to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday.
