In keeping with its foodie motif, the Swedish trio of Peter Moren, Bjorn Yttling, and John Eriksson -- AKA PB&J -- teamed up with Eater.com to promote its latest record, Gimme Some.
Peter Bjorn and John's foodcentrism reflects a growing trend of gastro-smitten musicians, including LCD Soundsystem's cheffy James Murphy, who's been taking on some high-profile cooking gigs -- namely with Le Grand Fooding -- since the band split last April. The trend is reinforced by sites such as Food Is the New Rock and extended riffs on food as music metaphors, such as this menu-as-playlist article by Chris Shott.
