Flavor Palm Beach: North County Edition

Categories: Food Festivals
Flavor Palm Beach is in full swing, which means diners can gorge on a three-course lunch for $20 or graze on a three-course dinner for $30 or $35, depending on your dining strategy. North County is heavy on classics, served a stone's throw from spas, hotels, and golf resorts. After the jump, three menus that speak to the range of options up north.

Creative and Casual
At Cafe Chardonnay, blueberry soup, sweet corn and crab griddle cakes, spicy lamb meatballs, and Frutti de Mare grace the $20 lunch and $30 to $35 dinner menus depending on if you're up for a three- or four-course dinner.

The Game Changer
Perhaps the most novel menu is at 3800 Ocean at the Palm Beach Marriott. The sample item is a super summery succotash and a rock shrimp risotto with Benton's bacon, arugula, and shisito peppers.

The Classic
III Forks offers a super old-school menu, with caesar salad, lobster bisque, fillet, salmon or chicken, and an in-between "entrée dessert" of creamed sweet corn, tomatoes, and spring onions.

Other restaurants participating up north include the Bistro Jupiter, Talay Thai, Ruth's Chris, Ironwood Grille and Capital Grille in Palm Beach Gardens.
