This week, we've asked for your help. We're looking for a reader to join a panel of dining mavens in the weigh-in to determine the evening's best bites. Congrats to last week's ticket winner, Tony Albano for getting wonky in his description of how to boil water:

I boil water which is commonly known as H20 in my aluminum (Al) pot to the boiling temperature of 212 Fahrenheit or 100 Celsius! (Fact:water boils at a lower temperature as you gain altitude (a mountain) and boils at a higher temperature if you increase atmospheric pressure (live below sea level). Cooking my wheat penne pasta for 480 seconds which computes to 8 minutes.Bon Appetito

New Times Pairings takes place Thursday, September 15 at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts.

If you don't win the judgeship, you can still buy tickets to Pairings -- they cost $45 online and $55 at the door. Deep pocketed readers can shell out $80 for VIP tickets that allow you in early, before the general admission crowds. Diners can sample eats from 3030 Ocean, ROK:BRGR, Yolo, Steak 954, and Bimini Boatyard, among other restaurants.
