Can you guess what makes pancakes made from scratch extra-fluffy? Well, Rosa Parks can tell you.

Yes, you read that correctly. Turns out Parks is famous for being more than just the mother of the civil rights movement. It appears she was a pretty good cook as well.

For her "featherlite" recipe for pancakes and the secret ingredient that makes them light as air, keep reading...

The Gothamist reports that among estate items gathered since Parks' death in 2005, notable memorabilia includes a recipe for her "featherlite pancakes," scribbled on the back of an envelope from the 1st National Bank of Detroit.

The recipe is just one of many items set to be auctioned off by Guernsey's Auctioneers of New York. The entire lot is being sold as a single collection valued around $10 million.

Although you may never get a chance to hold the recipe yourself, you can taste a piece of history with Parks' recipe, which calls for peanut butter, of all things.
