Food Truck Roundups at Gulfstream Park and Sawgrass Ford Tomorrow

Food truck Derby at Gulfstream Park will feature DJ's food and fun.

​With Tropical Storm Emily having been downgraded to just some soupy clouds floating in the Caribbean, tomorrow sounds like a promising day to check out one (or both) of the food truck roundups planned tomorrow in Broward.

If you're planning on doing a little shopping over at Sawgrass Mills, check out the food truck rally at Sawgrass Ford tomorrow. From noon - 5:00 p.m., almost a dozen food trucks will dish out everything from prehistoric-themed tacos to Cuban-styled rice and meat dishes. Trucks scheduled are: B.C. Tacos, Big Kahuna, Chef on 4 Wheels, Churro Mania, Havana Rice, Marly's Café, Okay! Burger, and The Red Truck. Sawgrass Ford, 14501 W. Sunrise Boulevard, Sunrise
In keeping with their horse-racing theme, Gulfstream Park is holding a "food truck derby". No, the food trucks won't race each other on the track (though we would totally be into that).  Instead, 20 food trucks will serve up fresh street food. Look out for live entertainment, a DJ, a full bar so you can have a vodka tonic with that burger and games and prizes.

Food trucks include: Jefe's Original Fish Taco, Latin Burger, Sugar Rush, Latin House Grill, Dim Ssam a Gogo, GastroPod, Mr. Good Stuff, The Flying Saucer, Red Koi, Mangia Mia, Moty's Grill, and Grill Master Café.
