Red Steakhouse Confirms Boca Meatery

The debut of the high-end steak house, which also has outlets in South Beach and Cleveland, Ohio, is expected in early November, according to Red marketing director Rosemary Staltare. Another Red is expected to open sometime later in Washington, D.C., followed by meateries in Chicago and New York.
Boca, it hardly needs to be pointed out, isn't exactly D.C., Chicago, New York, or even Cleveland. So what gives with the local site? Lots of Red's best customers in those other cities either have second homes in the Boca area or spend their winters here, Staltare said, and wanted access to their favorite purveyor of designer beef.
The Boca Red's menu will be pretty similar to Miami's, which means the restaurant's signature 30-day wet-aged certified Angus prime beef, which can be had with a half-dozen sauces and toppings, from béarnaise and chimichurri to blue cheese and Oscar, as well as the usual steak-house assortment of starters and sides.
The folks at Red have something else up their sleeve too, but for now, Charlie is sworn to secrecy, so you'll just have to check back in a couple/three weeks.
