Charlie, never one to scoff at a chance to nosh on some free fare, is delighted to announce the deal of the day: Free food at Friday's in honor of the long-awaited end to the NFL lockout announced Monday.

For today only, T.G.I. Friday's is giving customers a FREE order of their crispy green-bean fries appetizer. What better way to celebrate the future of football Sundays to come than with a heaping plate of fried food? 

Although there's no logical explanation as to why deep-fried vegetables were chosen as the fare of choice to celebrate NFL owners and players finally working out their differences, we won't analyze it too much. The spicy cucumber and wasabi ranch dip they come with sounds interesting enough to give them a try. They are free, after all...
