Bruno knows about cooking. He's been behind the burner at some of south Florida's best kitchens, including Morton's and China Grill. But the dream of having his own restaurant was strong and he decided to take a gamble on a food truck after seeing one for sale on the side of the road one day.

Fresh ceviches of the day are offered with home-made plaintain or corn chips ($8), as well as five different empanadas (chrizo and potato being the most popular). Satay skewers in beef, chicken, or shrimp ($6 to $8 for three skewers and Caribbean slaw or crisp frizzled onions) are a delicious alternative to burgers. A soup of the day may be counterintuitive in the summer, but look out for gazpachos and chilled soups in the weeks to come.
