Miramar Town Center Hosts Food Truck Roundup This Saturday

The Flying Saucer food truck serves 25 sauces to go with your wings and sliders.

A food truck roundup can be confusing. With so many trucks painted in bright colors, it's easy to get confused over which one to pick. Our recommendation? Eat your way through every single truck (maybe not in one day, but it's a pretty gosh-darned good lifetime goal, don't you think?)

With that in mind, Clean Plate Charlie will start featuring some of the food trucks rolling in South Florida so that you, the eater, can make a better-informed decision one delicious food truck at a time.

Today we're featuring the Flying Saucer. 

The Flying Saucer's Cubanito sliders

​The Flying Saucer serves chicken wings, tenders, and sliders that come with your choice of 25 sauces, all made from scratch (hence the name "Flying Saucer").

The Saucer also serves Philly cheese steaks so authentic, they fly in bread specially baked in Philadelphia. The cheese steaks are slathered in Cheez Whiz, onions, and mushrooms -- the way they're eaten in the City of Brotherly Love.

Show your food truck love at Miramar Town Center this Saturday, June 18, from 5:30 to 10 p.m. by eating your way through 15 food trucks. Free parking, music, and raffle drawings complete the evening. Trucks participating are Latin Burger, Aaron's catering Express, Big Kahuna, Che Grill, CheeseMe, Churro Mania, Cold Stone Creamery, Daddy's Grill, the Flying Saucer, Grillmaster Cafe, Jefe's Original Fish Taco, the MexZican, Mr. Good Stuff, Pappa's Tapas, and El Rey de las Fritas.
