Paul Liebrandt.

Do you recognize the name? For those who aren't as food-obsessed as we are, here's a quick recap: At 24, he was the youngest chef to ever be awarded three stars by the New York Times. He is also chef/owner of Corton, one of New York's top restaurants. Training under such greats as David Bouley and Pierre Gagnaire, it is no surprise that Liebrandt is at the top of his game.

So why care about him now?

After tonight, he will be a household name (at least for those who subscribe to HBO) as A Matter of Taste premieres at 9 p.m. on HBO as part of the cable network's "Documentary Summer Series." The documentary follows Liebrandt and his partner, Drew Nieporent of Nobu, on their gripping journey to opening the restaurant, Corton. Directed by first-time director Sally Rowe, the film premiered earlier this year with showings at the Tribeca Film Festival and SXSW to phenomenal reviews. The short documentary even has cameos by other famous foodies like Frank Bruni, Grant Achatz, and Eric Ripert.

Here's the trailer:

Plus, Paul isn't bad on the eyes. Sadly, ladies, he's taken.

Don't forget to tune in, though, as we can guarantee that it'll be a helluva better than The Bachelorette
