The Top Chef Tour is coming to South Florida

Top Chef, the reality cooking competition that turned the likes of Fabio Viviani, Carla Hall, Spike Mendelsohn and Brian Voltaggio into celebrities, is a weekly guilty pleasure for most of us.

Sure, we can eat in the cheftestants' restaurants (and there are a lot from South Florida including Kenny Gilbert, Jeff McInnis and Andrea Curto-Randazzo to name a few), but rarely do we have a chance to see them go head-to-head in live combat - until next week.

The Top Chef Tour, in which two cheftestants duke it out in a makeshift kitchen, is coming to two south Florida locations. Games, prizes, photo ops and autograph sessions are all promised so if you're a super-fan, plan on playing hooky from work.

On June 1st, come down to Miami to see two yet-to-be-named chefs battle on Lincoln Road or head over to Riverwalk in Fort Lauderdale on June 3rd to watch them engage in cooking wars. Demo times are scheduled for 10:30am, 12noon and 1:30pm each day.

Tickets are free but limited in number. Right now there's no further ticketing information, but check back with Clean Plate Charlie for more info as we get it or check out Bravo's website. Either way, this proves to be a fun food fight not to be missed.
