Don't let your Earth Day be a total bummer.

If you're having trouble getting the fam on board with your mission to go green, load up the Prius and shuttle everyone over to the Whole Foods Market of Coral Springs on Saturday afternoon to celebrate, among other things, Earth Month (Earth Day proper is Friday).

The Earth Fair is from 1 to 5 p.m. and will feature food samples from eco-friendly vendors and lots of kid-friendly activities like an Easter egg coloring demonstration (with natural materials) and a visit from a gopher tortoise courtesy of Sawgrass Nature Center.

Once you're done selling the kids on the importance of protecting the planet, the adults can head inside for the Castronovo Wine Bottle Signing to enjoy some of Earth's bounty (by way of fermented grapes). Paul Castronovo of the Paul & Young Ron's Show on Big 105.9 will affix his John Hancock to bottles of Castronovo Vineyards Montepulciano d'Aburizzo from 2 to 4 p.m. at the store's Specialty Department.
