Deal of the Day: $10 for $25 Worth of Food & Drink at Cancun Mexican Grill in Fort Lauderdale

Cancun, Mexico: The name alone suggests a good time, with resorts dotting the lengthy beaches that span the distance of this popular tourist destination on the country's easternmost coastal state.
Now, Cancun can also mean a good deal on some incredibly good food at the Cancun Mexican Grill in Fort Lauderdale.
Today, Cancun Mexican Grill is our Deal of the Day, meaning if you act now, you'll receive $25 worth of food and drink for just $10.
At Cancun, sit down and you're automatically greeted with a basket of chips and salsa -- the bread and butter of any good Mexican joint. Scan the menu and you'll find there are all the usual cheese-topped traditional dishes you'll find at most taqueria establishments -- but with a slight twist.
All the sauces and salsas are made fresh daily, and the tortilla chips are hand-fried. Even the margaritas are poured into those goblet-like glasses with a mix of fresh-squeezed fruit juices, not premade mix (and a mega 46-ounce glass goes for just $13.95).
At Cancun, you'll find all the prices are unbeatable too. Escpecially during happy hour Monday through Friday from 4 to 8 p.m., when small margaritas go for just $2.99 (large $9.99), domestic drafts are $1 each (imports $2), and a plate of nachos is just $4.95.
Most appetizers remain fairly priced even after happy hour, with most dishes between $4.95 and $10. Like the Quese Fundido, a blend of melted cheeses spiced with chorizo, onions, and tomatoes ($4.95), which pairs perfectly with the restaurant's famous Tuna Dip ($4.95) or guacamole ($3.50). Another favorite: the panchos,12 chopped corn tortillas topped with beans, ground beef or chicken, and melted cheese ($8.95).
Superhungry? Try your luck with the Plato Cancun (billed as the biggest plate on the menu) for $14.95. It's one enchilada, one chile relleno, one taco, and one tamale served with rice, beans, guacamole and pico de gallo. As the menu clearly states: Caramba!
Not in the Mexican mood: Don't worry, there are plenty of Americanized options too, including burgers ($6.95), charbroiled chicken ($7.95), and fish sandwiches ($8.95).
