Celebrate Baconalia, Win a Trip to Chicago

There are few things more genuinely satisfying than bacon. Different shapes, sizes, tastes, and preparations make bacon one of the most versatile, fattiest foods we can consume. We can even eat it broken into pieces and garnished on top of ice cream.

The new Maple Bacon Sundae at Denny's, a classic ice cream sundae topped with maple syrup and bacon in the form of sprinkles, is just one of seven new menu items the restaurant is adding to celebrate "Baconalia," a holiday for, well, bacon. Another way Denny's is celebrating is sending one bacon lover and a buddy to the sold-out Baconfest in Chicago on April 9. 'Like' Denny's on Facebook to find out more. The contest ends April 4 at 9 a.m.

The fictitious celebration of Baconalia is detailed on their Facebook fan page, noting "a BLT was simply an LT before Baconalia."
