You can't go wrong with a slider -- a quick bite of flavor infused into one, mini-me sandwich --the snack food of choice for seasoned foodies. At Gratify American Gastropub in downtown West Palm Beach, the pulled pork slider trio is no exception, a combination of simple ingredients that together create something sort of like a one-hit wonder for your taste buds.
The appetizer-sized serving is comfort food at its finest: three tasty sandwiches topped with a heaping helping of Carolina-style coleslaw, a spicier version traditionally served as a barbeque side dish. At Gratify, it's the ideal companion to add a little crunch to each hearty pile of tender, melt-in-your-mouth pulled pork -- smothered in the restaurant's tangy house sauce and packed between two toasted sourdough buns.
