Prime Cigar & Wine Bar Debuts in Boca
Local boy and former financial executive Ryan Leeds and three partners founded the bar, partly as a tribute to Leeds' oenophile and cigarophile late father, Mike. With its dark wood, slate, and blown-glass fixtures, it's a local version of a "Manhattan social club," says General Manager Will Jackson.
For your puffing and sipping pleasure, Prime stocks some 17,000 cigars in a 300-square-foot humidor, along with a lineup of 35 mostly boutique wines and more than 50 single-malt scotches. It also boasts a 2,250-pound, state-of-the-art air filtration system to whisk all that nasty smoke away.
Prime doesn't serve food, but it does have arrangements with several nearby restaurants that will deliver orders door to door, so there's no excuse not to get your vices on.
