Valentine's Day Dinners in Palm Beach
In addition to its namesake oysters (those luscious little seafaring aphrodesiacs) City Oyster & Sushi Bar in Delray Beach is dishing up several V-Day specials, including Wagyu meatballs with romesco sauce and veal medallions with Maine lobster.
At companion eatery City Cellar Wine Bar & Grill, the regular menu is on tap for the big day, along with more oysters and specials like ruby baby beet salad and bistecca Fiorentina. And you get a complimentary chocolate-covered strawberry at the end of the meal.
Delray Beach's nouveau supper club, Prime, has exec chef Peter Masiello offering a three-course dinner for $75 per person, which includes live music and the chance to cuddle over martinis like Nick and Nora Charles. (Go ahead and google it.)
Down around Boca way, the Pavilion Grille presents a four-course dinner for $29.95 or $39.95 per person, depending on your choice of entrée. There's dancing too, beginning at 9 p.m. so put on your hoofin' shoes.
Stick your fork into a Valentine's Day dinner of USDA Prime filet mignon and cold-water lobster tail, plus a romantic Chocolate Lovers Dessert at Boca's III Forks meatery. It will cost $150 per couple.
And if getting hammered on tequila sounds like your idea of Valentine's Day, Rocco's Tacos in West Palm and Boca Raton can make that happen and more, with specials like oysters ceviche, paella for two and Mexican chocolate tres leches cake.
