Wake Up for Sweet Dreams 2010

​Shopping and sharing consume our holidays so much that we rarely get to stop and taste the sweets. Thankfully, the Seminole Casino Coconut Creek has a strict no dessert left behind policy. More than 50 of them, and that's not sugarcoating it.

From December 9 to 25 on Thursdays to Saturdays, nosh on desserts including two chocolate fountains, nearly a dozen creations made on-site, and 30 different candies and pasties on display. The Fourth Annual Sweet Dreams at the Seminole Casino Coconut Creek welcomes glutton-loving guests including the Real Housewives of New Jersey's Caroline Manzo and Teresa Giudice (Thu, December 16); the original TV food chef, Mr. Food Art Ginsburg (Dec 24); and Simply Delicioso's Ingrid Hoffmann (Dec 10)

Hoffmann, a Miami resident, will kick off the weekend festivities on Friday, December 10, with a meet and greet starting at 7:30.

"It's great to participate in an event where the proceeds go to charities," Hoffmann said. "In past years, there have been scheduling conflicts. I'm glad I get to go this year."

Partial proceeds benefit the Ronald MacDonald House Charity, Lisa Boccard Breast Cancer Foundation, and Disabled American Veterans.
