Raw Kitchen Is (Not) Cooking in West Palm
The creation of partners (and sisters) Gigi and Iris Garcia and chef Brenda Kunkler, the Raw Kitchen presents its uncooked fare in a stylish space marked by cherrywood tables, olive-colored walls, and blown-glass light fixtures. It joins Darbster as West Palm's second raw/vegan/organic restaurant; a similar café at Soma Center closed with the demise of the "holistic wellness center."
On the menu are "pizzas" with sprouted buckwheat crusts topped with house-made nut cheese, assorted veggies, olives, and basil; a version of pad Thai made with zucchini "noodles" and almond sauce; layered macadamia nut salad with eggplant "pancetta," microgreens, and vegan chipotle "mayo;" and fresh fruit sorbets. There's also a roster of organic beer and wine.
The Raw Kitchen is open daily for lunch and Wednesday through Saturday for dinner.
