Gluten-Free Halloween Candy

Reese's are safe for Celiacs!
As we've written in previous posts, people who can't eat gluten (AKA celiacs) are forced to carefully read every label to make sure to avoid gluten -- which seems to be in just about everything.

Reading labels can make it difficult for gluten-free children come candy time -- Halloween. Tiny pieces of individually wrapped candy and chocolate bars don't feature the handy ingredient lists.

So parents, instead of firing up your laptops for many Google searches, check out our list below for the most popular gluten-free candies.

Chocolate:

1. Hersheys - Kiss, Hugs, Nuggets, milk chocolate bars. (Avoid any that say "crispie" or "cookie")
2. M&M's - except crispie.
3. Butterfinger and Butterfinger BB's
4. Snickers
5. Reese's Cups

Chewy Candy:

1. Tootsie Rolls - also including the "flavored" rolls
2. Jelly Belly Jelly Beans
3. Starburst
4. Skittles
5. Milkduds
6. Airheads

Candy Corn:

Farley and Jelly Belly brand candy corn is safe.
