Stroll with Sushi to the Beat of Taiko at Morikami Gardens Friday Night

​Friday night at the Morikami Museum and Japanese Gardens in Boca, it's drums and sushi and koi at their Summer Sushi & Stroll event. The gardens stay open late, from 5:30-8:30 p.m., so guests can stroll around, get a bite from the Cornell Café (safe American sushi -- best bet is the silky Asian eggplant and rice), and take in the taiko show, performed by the Japanese drum group, Fushu Daiko.

The drum performances are at 6:30 and 7:30, $2 with paid admission to the gardens ($7 for adults, $5 for kids aged 4-17).  Seating is limited - and sold first-come, first serve. If you miss this Sushi & Stroll, you have two other chances - August 9 and September 10.
