Last Chance at Scandinavian Fare -- Cafe Copenhagen in Jupiter Closes July 31

Christian Cotton, chef/owner of Cafe Copenhagen in Jupiter, is calling it quits in Jupiter's Driftwood Plaza. He'll be open for dinner Tuesday to Sunday through July 31 and for brunch on the weekends till that date; reservations are recommended if you do want in on one of the final meals.
Cotton's taking the summer off to travel Europe and Scandinavia but says it's a possibility he'll reopen in a new locale in the future, but there are no firm plans as of now.
Cafe Copenhagen was well-known for its frikadelle (Danish meatballs the size of oranges), herring, and recently, cold-water lobster tails. Sunday brunch featured the famous Abelskiver -- a round puffy pancake, served with lingonberries as tradition dictated, or syrup.
Cotton's family, from Denmark, is the basis for the recipes used in the small restaurant. His reputation is as a friendly host who greeted each of his diners and accommodated those with dietary restrictions.
