Freebies Galore at SOMA Center on Clematis in West Palm Beach

On Saturday, the Clematis Street outpost of the SOMA Center, a holistic center and café whose original location is in Lake Worth, will have its grand opening.
Meditation and yoga classes, workshops, raw food lectures and classes, and a belly-dance performance will be free throughout the day. The center will offer classes for those who want to learn more about raw food or vegan diets, and students can take hands-on classes to prepare and chow on two- and three-course meals.
On the SOMA Cafe menu are veggie burgers with "unfried" fries, eggless egg salad, pizza, vegetable lasagna, pad thai, smoothies, "flax-jacks" for breakfast, and more. Desserts get interesting: chocolate mousse made from avocadoes, raw "cheezecake" and raw apple cobbler.
Yoga classes, Turkish belly dancing, Zumba and "Bollywood" courses are a part of the center's schedule.

Open Monday-Wednesday, 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.; Thursday-Saturday, 7 a.m. to 11 p.m.; closed Sundays.
