The Hours: Monday - Friday, 3 - 7 p.m.; Monday - Thursday, 9 p.m. - close.
The Deets: BRIO's Tuscan Tasters has recently been added to happy hour, which includes nine smaller portions of the restaurant's appetizer favorites. On that list is one of my favorites, the sliced steak bruschetta, which includes Gorgonzola dolce, arugula, fennel, charred tomato, parmigiano-reggiano, and Tuscan Italian dressing. It also includes a shrimptini: the restaurant's version of a shrimp cocktail.The Scene: The Pembroke Pines location is exceptionally huge and includes a patio, long bar, and comfy booths and could serve as a cute date spot if after-work happy-hour plans aren't in order.
The Cost: The entire Tuscan Tasters menu is $2.95 and is available only at the bar. Drink specials vary on location, but the West Palm and Pembroke Pines stores offer $2 off martinis on Wednesdays, and the new Gulfstream location offers the same on Thursdays.
The Verdict: Martinis may not be my thing, but sliced steak bruschetta is. Since the tasters menu is so cheap, I would splurge for a specialty drink. They've also got an extensive wine list.
