• There are many good restaurants in South Florida and these postings can attest to, but I do have one that is special to me and most of our friends. TALIA's TABLE, in Boca Raton offers honest to Godfather Italian food. I have tested this theory by bringing my French Parents once, and that agreed, then we invited my wife Italian parents, and they were very impressed at the food quality, the ambiance and Andy's unbeatable charm !!! The sandwiches are like nothing I have ever had in the US, France or Italy !! and to be honest, I hope no one actually believes me, because then I would have Andy's cooking with all of you !! LOL

• La Barraca Tapas Bar is the best restaurant all around. The quality of its food, the service and the flamenco shows, all get an A plus. Pricing is reasonable, considering they have flamenco shows. There is always something new at La Barraca. I recommend their Facebook page to keep up with their events. I have celebrated a couple of birthdays there and have tried their catering services for a private event. All our friends loved the food! Hurray to La Barraca!

• Hands down - Southport Raw Bar in Fort Lauderdale - great food - great service - great scenery....everything is just great!

• Brother Tucker's in Pompano near the beach. It's a tiny place, easy to miss, but the food is gourmet quality and the beer is can't miss. Always try one of the soups. You'll never regret it.

• I went down to ilios this Friday after seeing all of these comments and now I see why everyone keeps voting for it. The food was absolutely delicious, the service was extraordinary, the bar area was very lively (although I stayed at my table) and the lighting was prefect. It felt intimate yet inviting. I will certainly go back for dinner and for drinks. The valet parking is also at a very affordable hourly rate considering other areas on the beach ($5).

• I find this difficult as the restaurant themes should have separate categories. Our favorite Italian is Zuckerello's on Commerical at Bay View. Barbeque would fall to Georgia Pig. Their pulled pork sandwhichs are fantastic as are the ribs and chicken. Mexican falls to LaBamba. Love the Sea Watch as an all around eatery with ambiance. Fernanda's at Federal and Oakland Park have excellent sandwhiches.

• mr.James Morgan, my favornt and the most exsiting restrant is La Baraca in Downtown Hollywood. it's a Spanish Tapas resturant.Live Flamenco Dansers, with a show that will have you- dancing. exselent parrilladas, paellas and 75 delishies Tapas to choose from. your gunna need a reservation too and come chek this place out. "it's stays packed"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

• I nominate La Barraca in Downtown Hollywood, the Spanish food is exquisite and the service is great. Prices are reasonable and you can enjoy live Flamenco Music & Dance.

• It was my wife's birthday whilst we were away - an important one with a "0" on the end - so I was trying to arrange a special night out. I booked a table for 4 at the La Barraca Hollywood (on the Internet before I left home) and I can thoroughly recommend it to all your readers. La Barraca Hollywood takes place in a typical Andalucian building in Hollywood Florida. I believe - which gave us a chance for a quick look around this 'model Village' of full size buildings from all the different parts of Spain without having to pay the Entrance Fee. We were greeted with a nice glass of Sangria as we arrived at 20:00. and then sat down to read the menu. We had booked the 'standard' meal which is all you can do unless you're in a large group but this still gave us a choice of 6 options for each of the 4 courses - Soup, Salad, Main and Dessert. We were very pleasantly surprised with the meal as I had feared that it might not be very special but was, in fact, very good! The meal was accompanied by either wine or in our case Sangria 4-course dinner with drinks and a spectacular Flamenco show seemed very reasonable to me. The tables were cleared by 21:15 or so and we stayed in our seats to watch the Flamenco Show. None of us were particularly into dancing but the colour, passion, intensity and drama of the whole thing was both exciting and moving. The flamenco show lasted some 75-90 minutes and involved a guitarist, 3 singers and 6 or 7 dancers. It was, as I understand it, more serious and 'genuine' than the typical Costa Flamenco Night. The holiday was a tremendous success and I would like to thank you for all your help in arranging this. So prepare to be spoiled by a culinary journey traversing the rich, flavorful regions of the Spanish Iberian Peninsula and the world. Chef Jorge Fernandez brings his traditional culinary art from Spain, France, England, Amsterdam, Canary Islands, the Caribbean, and the United States presenting his delicious Specialty Paellas, mouth watering Spanish tapas (hors d'oeuvres), and other worldly delights for the enjoyment of all for the past 16 years. • The Abolute Best is La Barraca in Hollywood. The food is superb, the ambience is authentic and romantic, you feel as if you were in Spain. The music, Flamenco dance, and spirit is amazing. • For great atmosphere, good food and good time: La Barrace in Hollywood. It is one of the few places that offers entertainment and authentic spanish food with lots of flavor.

The food is Amazing, finger-licking delicious, Chef Jorge Luis is so funny, and I love that there are live flamenco shows every weekend! On sundays you can even join a class to learn how to dance the traditional dances of spain! I'm there at least once a week!

• La Barraca Tapas is my fav.... Chef Jorge Luis Fernandez is not only a top chef but, is also a great host and makes everyone feel welcomed. We always look forward to seeing him on our return to Florida which is quite regular. The live show with the music & dancing is amazing. My favs are: Gambas al Ajillo. Puntas de Solomillo con Setas. Pimientos de Piquillo Rellenos de Mariscos Caracoles del Corral "como en Granada" Chuletas de Cordero con Datiles. Queso Fresco de Cabra al Horno con Hierbas Boquerones en Vinagre & a glass of Sangria to wash it all down...

• La Barraca Tapas in Hollywood. I moved to Tennessee and still think about the great atmosphere and food there. That's one place I truly miss.

• Forget the fancy napkins and frou frou. For pure eating pleasure, there is no better food than the Georgia Pig on 441 at Davie Blvd. Sure it is a barbecue joint, and yes you are served by WAITRESSES, but there is nothing like sinking your teeth into a Georgia Pig sandwich for good eatin'. I will put the food at the Pig up against any in Broward County and it win hands down. The slaw is perfection, and the fries are slices of heaven. The Georgia Pig is the one and only.
