The Manor is a joint venture of local real estate developers-restaurateurs-nitelife mavens Paul Hugo and Brett Tannenbaum, and their thinking is anything but small. The 16,000-square-foot complex includes York Restaurant and Windsor Martini Bar, a coffee and dessert shop called Coffeetalk, Epic Nightclub, and Ivy Ultra Lounge & Patio.
Heading up the food side is chef Brent Sick, who comes to The Manor from stints exec cheffing at The Mouse, aka Walt Disney World's Fulton's Crab House and Wolfgang Puck's in Downtown Disney. The indoor-outdoor York's menu focuses on tapas and small plates, says manager Gary Santis, with a menu orientation "like J. Alexander and Houston's." Tunes are tinkled on a baby grand piano.
The Windsor features more martinis -- classic and wacky -- than you can shake a swizzle stick at, while Coffeetalk will offer an assortment of baked desserts and gelati, along with coffee, tea and after-dinner drinks. Free Wi-Fi too. The bi-level Epic sports a quartet of giant chandeliers, a covered outdoor arcade with a Polynesian flair and--shades of South Beach -- a VIP room. Ivy will feature live music during the week and doubles as a conference room-private banquet facility.
