Which is exactly what Christine Najac and Marci Boland are doing with a tasting of organic wines paired to dishes using organic produce from Ma-rando Farms of Fort Lauderdale. Najac, sommelier and owner of Really Good Cookies of Boca Raton, and Boland,
chef and owner of L'Hermitage Catering & Gourmet Emporium, will pour and dish at L'Hermitage's Fort Lauderdale site on Tuesday, October 13, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
For $25, you can try roasted eggplant and goat cheese quesadillas, tomato-basil soup shooters with bacon-wrapped shrimp, white bean paté, chicken cacciatore with whole wheat pasta, organic fruits, and an array of cookies, brownies and confections, all while sipping three different Rieslings from Pacific Rim and Sauvignon Blanc and Cabernet Sauvignon from est 75.
But wait, there's more.
Najac and Boland have three more tastings planned for the rest of the year: French wines on October 27, world wines on November 10, and party planning with wine and food on November 17. For info on any and all of those and to reserve a space, call Christine Najac at 561-866-2760, or email her here.
