Tuesday Question: What's the Grossest Thing You've Ever Eaten?

• yeah, those crickets were awful, particularly the little legs that got stuck between your teeth. I still remember a very sweet cold cream of apple soup with a shrimp floating on top as particularly disgusting, served at one of our lovely local beach-side restaurants. I hope they've dropped that one from the menu. That soup tasted even worse than the cat food we sampled .... and I can't figure out why. Was it the temperature? The sugary broth against the fishy shrimp? Hard to say exactly...

• Hmmm, it's tough to recall everything nasty I've put in my mouth, but at the top of my list would be fried lobster brains, salted crickets (the taste isn't so bad, but it lingers for hours), and a mixed seafood torta I had once in Spain that tasted like chum. That's C-H-U-M, you perv.
